The Foundation For Music Education supports and is responsible for various projects and events each year. The primary goal is to raise funds for support and elevate awareness of the hard working band, choir, orchestra, and elementary music teachers on campuses across the United States.

Each philanthropic event is unique in nature and features the highest level of musical performances to be enjoyed by the guests, members, and trustees of the foundation. The goal is to ‘wow’ participants with the presentations of musicians at all levels of the educational process and highlight how the ‘behind-the-scenes’ effort of the band, choir, and orchestra teachers made this possible. 99% of the music of ALL kinds which the general public enjoys was made possible by the encouragement and assistance of a music educator.

Educational support efforts currently being produced involve an online journal and mentoring program. The goal for these programs is for successful seasoned teachers to provide a conduit of support for young and devoloping music educators.

Performance opportunities include all venues and dates produced by Choice Music Events and Music Across Texas. More than 40,000 students involved in over 1,000 music programs participate each year. The performance component of The Foundation provides a benefit to current programs while raising funds to assist future music educators with college scholarships.
