April 16: Hosted by the Locke Family
The first of the private concert series of events presented by The Foundation For Music Education will be a semi formal reception, dinner, and concert hosted by Jon Locke in his home. Entertainment will be provided by local elementary, middle school, and university students and teachers located here in West Texas. This will be an opportunity for West Texans that enjoy live music and outstanding dining to relax and socialize with other friends of music education.
The reception will begin at 5:30 PM in the formal entry and living area of the Locke household. Wine, beer, soda, bottled water, smoked salmon on crustini, sliced filet w/ balsamic onion & blue cheese on crustini, shrimp scampi putts, crab wontons, and more will be served.
At 6:30 PM, dinner will be served in the pool house where guests will be served a light dinner. The dinner will include salad (mixed greens w/ tomato wedge in a champagne/ shallot vinaigrette, chicken piccata (chicken breast topped with shallots, capers, tomato in white wine garlic sauce on top of rice), grilled asparagus drizzled in an aged balsamic glaze, New York style cheesecake served with an assortment of berries, strawberry puree, and/ or chocolate shavings.
Following dinner, guests will return to seating in the formal dining and living area to enjoy a concert with over thirty different performers. Many of the performers will be available at the conclusion of the private concert.
This event has a total of 48 tickets available at $25.00 per person or $200.00 per table. Attendance will be reserved on a first come and first reserved basis, so please confirm your reservation at your earliest convenience.
