The Foundation For Music Education is a not-for-profit organization committed to raising funds for the support of music education and the proliferation of music educators in our schools. The foundation is constantly looking for the funds and means to support current and future music educators.


The Foundation For Music Education is dedicated to the support and advancement of music education through scholarships and other worthwhile projects.

• The Foundation For Music Education will support band, choir, orchestra, and elementary music educator training programs across the United States.
• We will seek funding to support music education students.
• We will award scholarships as directed by the Board of Trustees.

"Music Matters" is an exciting music educational journal produced by The Foundation For Music Education that is provided online, four times per year free of charge to subscribers. The genesis of this digital journal began with the suggestions and ideas from The Foundation For Music Education's Board of Trustees. Additional fine tuning came from The Foundation's Steering Committee of music educators. Content of the journal includes topical and pedagogical articles from prominent music experts, written for practicing teachers of band, choir, orchestra, and other music educators. The journal fulfills one of the goals of The Foundation For Music Education, which is to provide resources for hardworking music educators.
